This audit evaluates the condition and compliance of electrical safety equipment that is in use.  The results allow users to identify damaged or non-compliant equipment so that it can be removed from service for repair or to be replaced.  Equipment due for testing will be identified so that the necessary arrangements can be made for the equipment to be tested in accordance with the requirements of the relevant equipment standards. The maintenance testing of Voltage Detectors, Phase Comparators, Electrical Insulating Mats, Telescopic Sticks and Telescopic Measuring Sticks is supported by a privately owned test laboratory.  All tests are performed to the requirements of the relevant equipment standards and documented in separate test reports.  Regular maintenance tests ensure that equipment is functioning properly and that it is in a safe condition for use.
